Reworked: Adrian Grating Tights review

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

I have redone the post on the Adrian Grating Tights review post, I felt that the original photos I put up weren't good enough so I had a reshoot and uploaded a collage.

In Focus: A866 Thermofabric Full Support Tights with Fly

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Here is my review on A866 Thermofabric Full Support Tights with Fly

I ordered this pair for myself and the A839 for my mum. At first look, I was kinda afraid that the tights would actually look like what it's on the picture shown above.. but thank God it was wrong! Well the fact is because I'm not the biggest fan of sheer hose.. but it is truly very opaque and what it shows on the picture is not at all accurate.. not as sheer as it is in real life! I ordered this pair specifically for running, but I suppose I would most likely be wearing them out anyways. I had a leggings kind of running tights but it wasn't sporting the compression I needed. Anyways as I pulled them up, it was kinda hard at first to put them on.. but it was kinda smooth as I slided them up my legs and also on the good side it was very stretchy, another good thing I realised was that these had the male fly, the fly seemed to have a lower denier content than throughout the parts of the hose(well I supposed no men wants it too warm down there either) I noticed that these lack a gusset.. well I'm pretty fine with gusset or sans gusset. It was very comfy when I got them on, adjustment was fine, I seem to prefer light support like the A857 than full support, due to the fact that it is easier to put them on.

The opacity coverage was pretty good, you would start to see stretch on the heels and the upper thighs, looking like 60 denier or so. These are more like 100 denier tights. I wore these out for a long jog and gosh did I get looks and some giggles. But meh I had the same looks when I was wearing my legging kind of running tights, besides.. I care for my legs and my fitness. Couldn't care what others think. I'm proud of what I wear!

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the A866 Full SupportTights. I give it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

They also make very good replacement for work socks if you want to consider them for a change. However do be warned that it would most likely be suitable to wear them when the climate is slightly cooler.

2 Months in Tights and Shorts

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

I just realised that I have been wearing tights really often with shorts on my off days especially on sundays to church and my brothers and sisters in my church cellgroup has grown so accustomed to it and I don't feel weird at all wearing it with shorts, I believe it is really about matching your clothes tastefully to match your legwear. Like one of my church brothers who told me.. it really does take a lot of guts to wear out like that, a church sister also said that I have grown in my area of boldness in what I wear. And those were positive remarks that I take which strengthens my resolve! I have commented to them that I'm not mainly wearing it for health reasons but for fashion reasons and I am indeed starting a new trend. But seriously, not every guy would accept tights as a normal clothing item. Just like there are some women who do not wear hose at all.
I just hope this would encourage more men who wear them to wear them out openly!

Just Arrived : Activskin A866 & A839

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

I received the A866 & A839 tights from Activskin on Friday, delivery time was somewhat a few days slower. Which is okay for me..

As I have written before, the A839 is a gift to my mum so I won't be reviewing on them but I asked her to give me a review on them. As for the A866, I will most likely be using them for my outdoor jogs. I will give them a review when I can.

In Focus: ActivSkin A857 Thermofabric Ribbed Light Support Tights

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Here is my review on
ActivSkin A857 Thermofabric Ribbed Light Support Tights

At first look the Activskin ribbed tights look pretty small to fit my rather broad body, I was actually a little apprehensive about support hosiery as I didn't like putting them on due to the fact that it might be real hard to put them on... but when I pulled the first leg up, it felt really stretchy and really really smooth, soft and comfortable!! I wore out these with shorts to church and I had no negative comments! I had a church brother in my cellgroup that complimented me and said that it takes guts to wear them out like that. I suppose that's the perk of being in a contemporary church! Hahaha! Anyways, on the light support that the product says that it gives, I don't really feel my legs were gasping to breathe but my legs feel good for the entire time, not full of aches and pain by the end of the day. It isn't as sheer as it looks on the picture that Activskin provides, it is pretty opaque as you can see in the photos below. The ribbing isn't very obvious from far but only at closer inspection.

Pros: Soft, Stretchy, Smooth, Good opacity coverage, very stylish, keeps your legs comfortable by the end of the day & not too expensive.

Cons: No fly, but then again without the fly it made it cheaper, may/may not need to wear underpants when wearing them(the regular brief wasn't thick enough to protect from the rough slight brushes against the pants zippers.

Customisable Tights!

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

As I was googling for tattooed patterned tights, I found this online store based in Germany named FunnyLegs. Other than selling hosiery typicall for women, they also have section for men and plus size female ones for men. Funnylegs caught the idea that tights are unisex.. WOW! Most interestingly they also feature a "Design your own printed Leggings and Tights" they have 3 different styles of print, one being an "All-over Print", "Textbanner or Logo" and "Wordcloud" The tights are 70 den, 90% Polyamid and 10% Elasthane, prices start at €19.90 for sizes S to L and L/XL are €20.90

I might try customising my own tights someday!

In Focus: ActivSkin A894 Camouflage Tights

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Here is my review on ActivSkin A894 Camouflage Tights:

At first look, it looks like what I would wear in the desert front..Hahaha! But looks absolutely awesome!!! As I started bunching them up to wear they feel really stretchy and soft, they feel really smooth against the skin as I pull them up the fit is fine, I started seeing some pattern stretch on my calves, which I believe is normal.. one thing I realised is that the patterns have seams on the sides which I think is the one thing I didn't really like. As I was adjusting my tights I saw a pretty weird stain or mark like as if some nail polish has spilled on it or something.. well good thing it was on my upper thigh area where my legs wouldn't be exposed.

A weird unwashable stain on my left thigh as I pulled them up for the first time.

The coverage was pretty good, it feels more like a sheer than an opaque hose. I really like the fly that it came with. One unique thing about Activskin tights is that you don't need to wear another undergarment like I normally would with other tights.

I wore out earlier today to do some shopping, I took the public transport, there was some looks but people don't really care.

This is actually my second time wearing tights out with shorts and I feel really good! I feel that as long as the outfit is right, it is really no problem wearing tights out with shorts at all, the war is really all in the head!

In Focus: ADRIAN Grating Tights

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Here is my review on ADRIAN's Grating Tights:

I ordered this and the ADRIAN City Tights from Legwear4men back in last month. At first look it is pretty similar to the ADRIAN City Tights as they are both 60 denier. I got an L size for this one. At first look, its waistband looks like what you would find in a Calvin Klein boxer shorts. The first thing I did was to wash them and I hung them dry for the night. At first feel putting them on... it felt just a tiny bit tight which is pretty normal due to the Lycra content. After pulling them up. It feels pretty durable and it feels soft on my legs. The seams were flat and the Argyle pattern goes all the way up ending at the waistband. After wearing it awhile with shorts, these are sheer to waste with reinforced toes. The patterns were stitched on. I pretty almost forgot I had them on as I was out... until I moved my legs as I was standing in public transport. So far, I'm only getting a few looks, well the sort of looks where my legs are the daydreaming point. However after I got home and washed them, I noticed something...the patterns started showing signs of slight fraying. And I noticed that the fraying were only at my thighs where my shorts had coverage on, the patterns that were exposed didn't have any frays(probably caused by constant rubbing as I was walking) I suppose I would be paying more than £9.99 if the patterns weren't stitched on but printed...

Slight fraying can be seen on the gray pattern.

Overall I would say I'm pretty pleased with the ADRIAN Grating Tights, I probably will order the other colour at a larger size.
