Weekly Vibe #182

Hi friends!

It's has been a long time but.. welcome to Weekly Vibe #182! I'm sure you might have heard a little of what happened to me the past few weeks and adding into the mix that I had to pull a 6 day work week for 2 weeks and now I'm back in military outfit and will only be out of it by Friday this week and it has really bogged me down a fair bit blogging.. :X For the nice part I could hang out with my brothers whom I have served during the full-time service days and for another good part was that I passed my proficiency fitness test and got myself $200! :D

Regardless I still was doing the same, checking out hosiery and still wearing them as part of my outfit, recently I was recommended by a LAUF forum member to try seamless hosiery from China, named "Red Umbrella" for a moment I thought they were affiliated to the fictional Umbrella Corps from Resident Evil.. hahaha!

What I got were these seamless opaques that came in 3 denier series, 80 denier, 120 denier and 180 denier with footless, stirrup and footed configurations that came in 4 colours black, light, tan, and coffee brown.

Here are some product pictures:

These were designed in mind for autumn and winter wear, they highlighted various issues on some conventional tights like visible reinforced panty, laddering, discomfort and snagging along with other issues that these marketed tights don't.

Other properties are the "apple hips" system which made these pair of tights some what waistband free, they keep you warm, the holes in the waistband give your waist ventilation, they are also elastic and stretchy as marketed.

One thing lacking information which made me consider ordering was sizing because nothing was mentioned on that part and the last time I ordered from another Chinese hosiery brand got me quite unimpressed in terms of quality but I decided to get these Red Umbrella seamless ones since they weren't that expensive US$7.30 a pair and it was getting 2 pairs for the price of 1 so I thought, why not? I got myself 2 pairs, 120 denier and 180 denier, I actually thought I got the 80 deniers one but I guess I didn't see clearly and locked in 180 denier instead.. but oh well! They took about a week or so to arrive.

I only just got back home in the noon from my duty till 4am from my military duty and I was still severely lacking sleep, however getting these still got me pretty excited and I decided to try put on a pair first and since I was gonna wear a pair of tights for lightsaber class, might as well try these on first and perhaps wear them for class.. so I tried them on!

First impressions were that they were really soft and stretchy and they fit me well! And then I realised that the packaging did have sizing(Come on you should have put it up in your sales page!) It seemed like a 1 size fit all, hip sizing was 80cm - 120cm, Height was 140cm - 185cm and since I was somewhat in the middle size range, they fit well! And now for me was to wear them for a few more times and put it through my kind of trials before giving a review.

Anyways if you are interested to check them out, they are on Taobao's Tmall page.

Well that's all I have for you this week!

Have a blessed week ahead!
